xAPI LMS Group

Pankaj Agrawal explained a proposal for an LMS specific xAPI profile. Unlike cmi5 (with focuses on LMS/Learning content interoperability), this profile would be for LMS specific events (like registration, classroom events, etc). Multiple LMS systems could share LRS's with this profile.

As with other profiles the group expressed interest in coordination to ensure that this (and other) proposed xAPI profiles are complimentary.

cmi5 spec errata - LaunchParameters

The group agreed to change the string value example to

Sample value: <launchParameters> Start=1,QuizMode=1,FastForward=On </launchParameters>

• LaunchParameters = normal string (name/value)

• LaunchParameters = string looks like JSON (JSON parse)
