SCORM vs cmi5 comparison Document

The group continued to work on a SCORM vs cmi5 comparison document. More refinement was done on the detailed comparison table. The following changes were made:

• Remove the entry for "Flexible Technology Stack" as it was redundant.
• Rename "Browser less Capability" to "Client Agnostic"
• Modified definition for "Distributed Content"

Issue #534 - Clarifying the distinction between LRS and LMS

The group had a thoughtful discussion on this issue raised by Steven Warwick. The concern raised by the issue is the role of the LMS as a manager of "state" and the "stateless" nature of an LRS (and xAPI). Longtime group members re-iterated the notion that the cmi5 spec was intentionally designed to allow LMS vendors to use "off-the-shelf" LRS systems. The discussion raised issues that would be well suited for LMS best practices such providing content with a "proxy endpoint" for xAPI communication with the LRS.
