'Tis yet another day. The sun shines upon yonder hill and here I am, once again, seated in the lab. How did my life come to this? Could there have been another way? Does it matter? After all, here I am. My own choices have led up to this point. For even though the future is ours for the taking, the past is what keeps us here.

Wait, what?

TODO ON THIS DAY

  • Find out how much we need to order of each item.
  • Flesh out the component list. (the one on google docs)

Mentally converting nano-something to micro-something is really hard. We've got two 0.1uF capacitors on our board. We need 57 100nF capacitors for decoupling.

Aaand apparently we've ordered a bunch of 1206 0.1uF capacitors when we've been using the 1210 footprint all along. ("a bunch" = 20). Eh, the 1206 package is 0.9mm wider than 1210. I'm just going to go for more of the 1206 caps.

I noticed we haven't numbered the header pins on the silk screen layer. Perhaps we should have done that so we wouldn't have to count up manually every time we go looking for a specific pin.

There's 1uF, 4.7uF and 0.1uF capacitors in the HW-lab. Or actually I'm not sure about the 4.7uF ones as the label is handwritten and is almost completely eroded. So let's get a couple of those.

The spreadsheet is complete!

Check out the "filter2" tab to see what we're ordering in round 2. I think that might have taken more time than it strictly had to.
