Bonus Codes

widberg edited this page Aug 11, 2024 · 7 revisions

Bonus Codes can be entered in the "Bonus Codes" menu under the "Options" tab in the pause menu. They are comprised entirely of eight digits 0 through 9 and entered using a single row of digits in increasing value followed by an "Accept" button, the "Accept" button and 0 wrap around to each other in both directions; this method of inputting an eight digit number is insanity provoking and has been described as "fuckass" by many.

Things that can be unlocked using Bonus Codes in game are added using the AddPilotLivery, AddVehicleLivery, and AddVehicleUnlock with the bonus code as the last a, argument NONE if it is unlocked in some other way. The second to last argument of AddVehicleLivery will be "CHEAT" for Bonus Code related items.

There are three pilot liveries unlocked using Bonus Codes.

  • 48992519: Camo Army Helmet
  • 20061977: Road Addict Jacket
  • 91031985: Speed Angel Shorts

There are two vehicle liveries unlocked using Bonus Codes.

  • 17121973: LIGHTNING BOLT for Mudhog
  • 18021974: BUTTERFLY for Sludgeray

And one vehicle

  • 18041851: Warrior

This vehicle has three liveries which are all marked "CHEAT" but do not have a code associated with them, so they are unlocked by default.

AddVehicleLivery MESH_ID_SUV_OFF_2 1 "YellowStone" 3173 CHEAT NONE
AddVehicleLivery MESH_ID_SUV_OFF_2 2 "YellowStone" 3174 CHEAT NONE
AddVehicleLivery MESH_ID_SUV_OFF_2 3 "Islands" 3175 CHEAT NONE

The code for the Warrior vehicle was available in-box for copies sold at GameStop and EB GAMES. I am not sure where the other 5 codes came from. All 6 codes appear in the PS3 and Xbox 360 sections of Tips And Tricks - Volume 17 Issue 5 - Video Game Codebook July 2010.
