• Vertical flipping of arrays?
  • Ongoing work with IAP model (old version of CESM)
  • All physics schemes are "upside down"
  • Can the framework help with this?
  • Needs the code to automatically flip it
  • Needs a way to encode this in the metadata: by scheme or by variable
  • A better solution is to rewrite schemes so that they don't care
    • This should be a recommendation because it is faster than copying arrays
