Implemented in version 1.3

Description

Performs a virtual restriction digest on all provided sequences using specified enzymes. All feature annotations will be retained in the fragments that contain them, and each new fragment will be given the same name as the original sequence.

Arguments

Enzymes ( {<enzyme name(s)>} )

Specify each individual enzyme you wish to be used in the digest. All sequences will be cut with all enzymes listed.

Note that enzyme names are case-sensitive, so EcoRI is not the same as ecori (which will not work).

Topology ( {circular, linear} )

Specify whether the sequence is linear or circular. Default is linear unless the sequence is annotated as circular. User-specified topology overrides annotation (a sequence annotated as circular will be digested as a linear sequence if argument 'linear' is provided). Output sequences that have been cut are annotated as linear.
