This page contains a brief summary of the status of the Xolotl development team each morning during the month of January 2019.

20190102

Sophie - Testing 2D free GB as straight lines instead of circles. Preparing slides for meeting on MOOSE coupling.

20190104

Sophie - Moving the free GB to the MOOSE branch and adding an option to switch between mirror boundary conditions and periodic ones. Changing the flux option in NE to take the fission rate instead of the xenon flux.

20190107

Sophie - Creating 2D and 3D cases with a plane free GB in the middle.

20190108

Sophie - Moving the free GB case to the moose coupling branch. Adding a method to get the rate to pass to moose at each grid point.

20190109

Sophie - Adding a method to get the rate to pass to moose at each grid point. Testing the periodic boundary conditions in 1D.

20190111

Sophie - Testing the visualization pull request. Working on the example of code coupling from MOOSE.

20190114

Sophie - Working on the example of code coupling from MOOSE. Implementing the full diffusion equation for Xe.

20190115

Sophie - Working on the example of code coupling from MOOSE. Implementing the possibility to switch between re-solution fits.

20190116

Sophie - Implementing the re-solution in 2D and 3D, updating the moose branch with it.

20190118

Sophie - Updating the moose coupling with the initial example from Fande. Looking at how to check the transfer of data is working.

20190123

Sophie - Investigating why the coupling example doesn't give a straight vertical line of concentration. Starting to add the heat equation in 2D/3D.

20190124

Sophie - Adding a few methods to Xolotl to mirror its grid for the Moose coupling. Continuing to add the heat equation in 2D/3D.

20190125

Sophie - Adding a few methods to Xolotl to mirror its grid for the Moose coupling. Creating tests for the heat equation in 2D/3D.

20190128

Sophie - Continuing to work on the dmda mirror for Xolotl grid for the Moose coupling. Starting large 2D simulations with heat flux.

20190129

Sophie - Figuring out why HDF5 stays stuck on Eos. Working on next week's Xolotl tutorial.

20190130

Sophie - Rewriting the saving of the concentrations in 2D in the HDF5 file. Working on next week's Xolotl presentations.
