October 2014 Morning Status Meetings
This page contains a brief summary of the status of the Xolotl development team each morning during the month of October 2014.
Crystal - Running simulations with different step sizes. Working on the end of the year report.
Sophie - Testing the diffusion handler branch. Working on monitoring the interstitial flux.
Sophie - Looking at the performances of the diffusion handler branch. Working on monitoring the interstitial flux.
Crystal - Working on the end of the year report.
Sophie - Working on trap mutation reactions.
Sophie - Plotting concentration distributions to understand the behavior of the helium retention when there is an initial concentration of V clusters. Looking at the advection term.
Sophie - Implementing the advection term for He_1 to start. Testing it.
Sophie - Adding sink strength values for different surface orientation for the advection. Meeting with people at UT to discuss code comparisons.
Sophie - Investigating the differences in interstitial concentration between Paraspace and Xolotl. Running simulations to longer fluences to push Xoltol.
Sophie - Changing the PetscSolver so that when the temperature changes, the off-diagonal part of the Jacobian is updated. Looking at adding a flux profile option similar to the temperature profile option.
Sophie - Adding a handler factory for the advection. Changing the bounday conditions to 0 concentration on both sides and no condition on the derivative.
Sophie - Changing the boundary conditions to 0 concentration on both sides and no condition on the derivative. Running simmulations to test the flux of interstitials at the surface.
Sophie - Testing the flux profile option. Looking at abstract factories for different material.
Sophie - Implementing the abstract factory to take care of the advection handler and the flux handler in the advection branch. Reading about openMP.
Sophie - Implementing the abstract factory to take care of the advection handler and the flux handler in the advection branch.
Sophie - Comparing the Paraspace branch to the trunk. Cleaning-up the factories in the advection branch.
Sophie - Testing the advection for different surface orientations. Creating a nightly build that tests the performances.
Sophie - Cleaning-up the monitor for the PetscSolver and the visualization.
Sophie - Looking at the formation energy fit to extrapolate them. Updating the benchmarks.
Sophie - Preparing to merge the advection branch in the trunk. Creating a new branch for PetscSolver clean-up. Meeting at UT.
