May 2015 Morning Status Meetings
This page contains a brief summary of the status of the Xolotl development team each morning during the month of May 2015.
Sophie - Presenting Xolotl recent progress at the PSI SciDAC telecon. Reading the annual report. Looking at helium cluster sizes as a function of depth with modified trap-mutation simulations.
Sophie - Working on the poster for PFMC. Adding the moving surface to the irregular grid + modified trap-mutation branch.
Sophie - Working on the poster for the workshop associated with PFMC. Continuing on the moving surface with the irregular grid + modified trap-mutation.
Sophie - Making the moving surface an optional process and testing it. Starting to thinking about how to have advection in multiple direction for GB.
Sophie - Looking at how the choice of PCE and quadrature changes the forward propagation. Think about advection in different directions for GB.
Sophie - Finishing the posters for conference and workshop in France. Working on the front tracking branch for it to work in parallel.
Sophie - Reading about good MPI practice and changing the methods used in the monitors.
Sophie - Running ITER like simulation and looking at when the biggest cluster is created as a function of the network size, up to V = 500.
Sophie - Comparing Xolotl scaling with a W100 incident flux to a flat one. Leaving for France for the PFMC conference.
Sophie - Looking over the draft of the Xolotl paper. Checking the total conservation of I and V in the moving surface branch.
