This page contains a brief summary of the status of the Xolotl development team each morning during the month of May 2014.
Crystal - Working on the helium flux handler for iron, creating a common base class for the flux handlers.
Sophie - Finishing the handler registry for the visualization.
Sophie - Adding the new viz option from Jeremy, working on the HDF5 checkpoint restart.

Crystal - Checking out some performance opportunities with PAPI. Checking out the Fe data.
Sophie - Preparing to merge viz work into the trunk. Fixing a bug in the HDF5 I/O prototype. Looking at the boundary condition stuff from Barry.
Jay - Starting on the low memory branch.
Sophie - Trying to create a 2D plot for concentration density. Merging boundary conditions changes into the trunk.
Crystal - Looking into other performance libraries. Testing grid scaling.

Crystal - Checking out TAU for the performance work. Merging material handlers, etc.
Sophie - Merging boundary condition changes into the trunk. Working on HDF5 loader.
Jay - Trying to setup a parallel run on the cluster. Looking at the visualization branch. Starting to generate new input files for He-retention benchmark.
Sophie - Starting "for real" on the HDF5 restart. Updating some things in the visualization branch.
Crystal - Installing Tau on workstation to try it how. Debugging some PETSc issues.
Jay - Merging the visualization branch. Starting to generate new input files for He-retention benchmark.
Crystal - Trying Tau out on Xolotl. Running mtrace on Xolotl.
Sophie - Working on the HDF5 restart. Making some small changes to the viz files.

Crystal - Continuing to test out the performance tools.
Brian - Figuring out how to modify the reactions to handle loop punching reactions.
Jay - Testing out the updated fieldsplitting PETSc branch for Xolotl. Diagnosing and repairing performance issues.
Crystal - Looking into mtrace issues with C++. Working on some auto instrumentation stuff with Tau.
Sophie - Packing up the viz stuff for later. Working on HDF5 I/O.
Jay - Diagnosing and repairing performance issues.
Sophie - Working on HDF5 support and Bayesian work.
Crystal - Looking into argument bug. Writing up a performance infrastructure example. Testing Tau build with Xolotl.
Jay - Fixing pointer issues in Xolotl for performance optimization.
Crystal - Working with Tau some more. Updating GPTL performance documentation. Installing Dakota.
Sophie - Installing Dakota. Testing diminutive benchmark in HDF5NetworkLoader. Working on abstract.
Jay - Working on the preprocessor. Merging performance optimizations into the trunk.
Crystal - Testing out the new performance optimizations, working on preprocessor.
Jay - Working on the BindingEnergyEngine for the preprocessor.
Crystal - Figuring our weird performance issues with the performance infrastructure. Trying to diagnose the performance problems with PSICluster.getTotalFlux().
Crystal - Looking at the performance stuff some more after finding some strangeness in PSICluster::getDissociationFlux(). Reviewing UQ work to prepare for Sandia.
Jay - Working on the preprocessor, refactoring the dissociation routines.
